Another strategy I think would be good, although I haven't tried it, would be to diversify your delegations to avoid disruption from a bad apple indexer. I'd imagine this would cost more gas, so you'd want to time it right. But could be interesting.

you can expect 20% apy right now if you pick a good indexer, regardless of how much you stake. Do your own calculations on how long it would take to cover the gas. I delegated 1.7k to test it out and estimate a 23% return BUT expect that to fluctuate as the network matures.

Bottom line is it's compounding on top of whatever grt gains in value. If you believe in what the team is doing then get into a good indexer now before they hit capacity. You can delegate other stacks later (and that's the smarter thing to do anyways).

If you don't believe or understand what's going on here, then sell.

are there any protections in place for developers to avoid being baited with a low query fee that then skyrockets later? or do they just not hardcode their selected indexer and expect to change it if needed?
