Iran is getting hit with nationwide blackouts. They're blaming unlicensed Bitcoin miners, but I get the feeling there's more to the story than we're being told.

It's only been 3 weeks since the nationwide blackouts in Pakistan. Didn't hear about those? Don't feel bad - it wasn't reported by any of the mainstream American news outlets.

And to add to the mystery, it turns out that a lot of the Bitcoin mining being done these days in Iran isn't being done by the Iranians; it's being done by the Chinese.
