If I was in stacking mode, I would care only that they be able to stack with stability - don't want stack(s) falling over. That kind of rules out loaf-like bars, though they could be the toppers of each stack, assuming I really liked them.

There's something to be said for lots of the same, for when going to sell. It's pretty straightforward - just find out what the value of one is and multiply.
I did the opposite. I now have 1,010 items of unique design/issue. I'm contemplating the scenario if/when I or a descendant will go to sell. Each item will have to be assessed individually. That's a daunting task. Fortunately, I keep a spreadsheet so heirs will at least have an idea of initial relative value for each item.
BTW... that is an impressive and gorgeous stack of bars you have there.
