Everyones fantasyland collapse scenario differs; just make sure you buy all the neat things that assuage your big boy fears and help you sleep at night. As another anon said though, it's generally wise to have at least 6 months worth of expenses saved up.

I plan to read about ancient coins this weekend to relax. I am torn betweem buying a gold franc or an ancient silver coin. I think I'll go with the ancient silver, but the big gold dip today is distracting me.
