Avalanche evolved a LOT since last year. the ideas have to adapt.
>it doesn't make sense to have hundreds of different mascots.
Every Subnet is its own VM, its own Blockchain with its own rules etc.
It makes Sense that every successfull Subnet gets its own waifu.

Also splitting it up into X,P and C-Chan is actually educating as people learn about the different Chains.
Avalanche is not a single Chain so why should it be only 1 waifu? where is the Logic?
