Posting again since I might as well hit all time zones.

I'm about to start as a 1st year electrical apprentice, (In Canada) how should I aim the trajectory of my career so I can make money? I don't want to be some goon who just runs wire until my body breaks, I want to be successful. From what I can hear, I have a few avenues to make $$$:

Start my own business

Specialize in Industrial Maintenance / High Voltage / Controls

Work in the Bush / Mines / Rigs (I have no contacts in any of these places)

Get into equipment / materiel sales

Any advice is appreciated.
