Agreed. What's even funnier is that've convinced people that "middleware" is a good thing.

Pic related is some "middleware".

Hey guys. I think I've started to realize that:
>A. Oracles are not real, you can't reliably put real world data on to the blockchain in a trustless manner.
e.g. You're collecting thermometer data and a cat falls asleep on the sensor every other day, raising the temperature by 10 degrees when he does.
>B. The fact that you can't put real world data on blockchain in a trustless manner means that automatically fulfilling smart contracts with real world data is impossible.
e.g. determining the value of a piece of art over time.
>C. The "solution" that is proposed is weighted node voting. This is massively flawed since it only allows for "popular" answers rather than "true" answers.
e.g. A high reputation node voting on the wrong data for various reasons; other nodes changing their data to ensure they get paid.

What do I do? There's this erc20 token I see on this board all the time and there's a lot of people that have been fooled with buzzwords like "oracle" and "singularity". I feel bad for them.

I have zero interest in purchasing erc20 tokens.

I'm annoyed that such a simple lie is so effective, so I'm hear to clear up some things. Don't expect me to leave anytime soon.

My writing style and arguments are consistent with previous threads. Draw your own conclusions.

I'm on biz in 2019 because there's better projects to bring forward. Time to start clearing the table, starting with tokens.
