Honestly didn't expect an etf like BIL to make so many people seethe. It's the simplest easiest way to get exposure to treasury bills. Yeah you can purchase treasury bills directly to get a little extra yield but BIL is the most convenient. Plus it allows you to enter and exit your position whenever you want.

This is a huge plus when you're waiting to enter a position but you want to make some money in the meantime. For example if you hold BIL for a week you'll get a week's worth of interest.
