Friendly reminder that the push to make all games digital is kiked shit. The reason (((people))) get their panties in a bunch about people buying physical games is because they don’t want you to have the option to borrow, lend, sell or purchase used games. They want you on the digital marketplace where you always pay full price, you have to repurchase your games with every new console cycle and they can control the content you’re exposed to while having the ability to ban you from playing “your” games if you commit a wrongthink. Haven’t you ever thought it odd that no one is ever like “yeah, I just don’t think physical games are that popular.” It’s always “PHYSICAL GAMES ARE DEAD!! DEAD I TELL YOU!! DONT PLAY THEM BECAUSE THEYRE DEAD!!!”
