And before the scamdemic, when premiums were around 1.50€ above spots for gubment minted coins, how much of this premium was ending in shops' pockets? Because the mint certainly wasn't charging them spot, for them to profitably cast coins, it would at least cost 0.75€, right? If so the stores' margins already used to be below one euro.

The problem is the silver market have been in complete chaos since the scamdemic, and a lot of shops profited from the insane demand to line up their pockets to disgusting levels. They better not forget they are just middlemen. If they get too greedy for too long, alternatives will arise. If they make over 1.50 bux per basic coin/round, it's too much.
