I use TradingView. What I do is I go in TradingView and do something like HE1!*307.6/CPIAUCSL and it shows me the inflation-adjusted Lean Hogs front month futures, so I can tell if it's historically cheap or not, and right now it is. Could always go down a few dollars, but not so much.

I did the same thing for all the commodities to figure out their cheap ranges and now I look out for those getting cheap.

I disagree, commodities can reach highs that are 4x their usual, like Lumber in 2021, it's like there's no limit to how high they can spike. Imagine shorting Lumber at $900 and then it goes up to $1700.
