The spot price is mainly dictated by the paper silver ETF market, which people are mass liquidating to finance their businesses (or just their personal finances) due to the Corona virus screwing up the economy. At the same time people are rushing into the physical silver market due to the panic of an economic depression, causing severe shortages in the real world supplies of silver. These retardo premiums over spot are just more reflective of the actual price, as now we're in a situation where there's a price disconnect of the paper market vs. the physical market.
