They essentially nullified an entire day of trading, trying to demoralize people and to figure out their positions.
But at the same time they managed to create one hell of a Streisand effect in the process.
Everyone has been tweeting the shit out of this debacle and when the trading is open once again, we're going to see the stocks explode. I mean they didn't exactly fall as much as they could have, despite no one being able to throw money at this market.

Also this has great repercussions.
Either they just throw the court cases out and try to regulate people's ability trade. Which would really piss off everyone to a point of a rioting. Or they allow people to fuck with the hedgehogs. It's a total no win situation for them.
Of course they're going to try their damnest to fuck with us, so I expect riots out of this in the long run.
