Hear me out /biz/

There are tons of sellers on Amazon, selling generic Chinese products and then slapping their stupid logo or name on it and multiplying the price by 10.

Now that's perfectly normal, even big corporations do that. But I have noticed that with Amazon, there are tons of brands that are untrademarked (I've checked in the trademark registry.) They are all small brands which were basically made up because sellers know that slapping a brand, any brand (even one which basically doesn't exist) will let you raise the price.

Since those products are NOT trademarked, could I sell under the same listing the exact same product minus the logo? Or better yet, find some factory on Alibaba that will produce the EXACT same product, name and all and then sell it on Amazon? Since it's not trademarked there is no way I could get sued right?

Or if I'm feeling even more evil, couldn't I file a trademark then sue the fuckers selling overpriced shit because they're selling under technically my trademark?
