Any person can have a radically different (better) life in just 6 months from now if they truly want it and truly put in the work 100% from this point on. You can be wealthier, healthier and in a way better social/romantic position all in just 6 months from now, even if you're at rock bottom right now.

But the reality is that the vast majority of people are simply too weak-willed to actually put in the continuous effort and it's extremely hard to suddenly magically gain very strict discipline after 3 decades of no discipline.
So it all depends on how much genuine control you have over your own day to day thoughts and actions
