>Crypto has existed for 14 fucking years. How long does it take for Congress / SEC to figure out? Ignoring something like it doesn't exist for 14 years and then suddenly classifying it as a security and throwing people in jail is bad faith and they're going to lose in the supreme court over this.

>Can you not extrapolate and see that it's getting better with each generation? Don't forget, as the AI-model scales it learns new (novel) skills that it previously didn't have; it's not just getting better at what it already does, it learns new stuff somehow.

>Why would a person not sell their Ethereum with a PoS system?
>With proof of work a miner must make decisions based on electricity prices, land, cooling etc. With proof of stake, you have nothing physical "at stake" and any Ethereum distributed to you, you could sell at any moment, for any price with no consequence.
>A person who wants to acquire a proof of work currency could go about it in 2 ways - mine it or exchange their currency for it.
>A person who wants to acquire a proof of stake currency MUST market buy it. Meaning that in the case of Ethereum 2.0, in order for the network to become more secure, people must BUY Ethereum in order to stake it. There is no alternative.
>In Ethereum 2.0 only people with existing Ethereum (32 ETH+) will be able to secure the network. If these people do not have any reason to sell, then you could say they could just hold it forever. But like I said above, people have no reason to NOT sell Ethereum - nothing is at stake. The only reason for people to buy large sums of Ethereum is to stake it. And the only reason people stake Ethereum is to make an "income". Reminder: this income is in the form of new Ethereum (limitless supply inflation btw).
>Ethereum is an absolute disaster.
