i don't think you are the target audience. i can see where you're coming from, but i'm pretty sure Flare Finance's promotional material did a good job of reaching the audience it means to reach (people who are tech-literate who don't give a fuck about whether something is unprofessional or not)

you realize Brian Brooks said that in the coming decade banks are going to lose ground to DeFi right? and that Flare Finance is going to blow every other DeFi platform out of the water by virtue of running on Flare instead of ETH?

ugghhh my gf last year would sit in my fireplace EXACTLY the same way as in your picture and did EXACTLY the same thing to me as yours did to you. i was hurt for a few months this spring but something miraculous happened- i think getting my heart broken this last time did something to me. I no longer have a trace of simp in my heart- I've been with a few girls this year, sort of casually dating, and all three of them wanted to make it more serious and official, but all i can see now is how people manipulate and use each other, even if unintentionally, and it makes it very difficult for me to be naive.

Wise words, friend- focusing on yourself is a good idea right now. Sometimes I wish I had a family, because at my age you start to feel the effects of time. But I look at my friends with families and almost all of them hate their spouses, hate their jobs, hate their feeling of being trapped. The grass is always greener- and I'll cross that bridge if and when I come to it. No point in stressing out- and 2021 might not be the best time to start a family anyway. I have a feeling it's going to get pretty weird.
