Thanks so much for the fun thread. I actually was making 15k a month with UpWork doing Software/IT projects but it was a real grind. You have to do sales and tech yourself, and the tech has risk of not delivering successfully. UpWork makes it so that you only get paid 2 weeks AFTER delivery, so if you have costs you just have to eat them up-front. They also take 10% fee off the top and charge you to apply to jobs. UpWork sucks so I stopped.
