Checked and I'm thinking they will reserve US CBDC simply for gibs distribution. That's what the H6321 act says. You can also expect that banks will lobby hard against full scale FedCoins as normie money because it will make modern banking obsolete.

For me the real inflationary situation comes from the move to MMT. That being said, I can see how Gold sort of reacts to USD inflationary expectations, but I think it moons based mostly off uncertainty. We get so focused on inflation of USD in these threads, but I think the best moon scenario for PMs would be a contested election or something epic like the Eurozone dissolving.

Help me explain this meme news.
I know they usually come up with this shit after the fact, but how does increased PPI lead to lower metals prices?

>PPI is highest since October 2018
It is obviously not high due to increased productivity, but rather industries needing to up their prices = Inflation. CPI will soon follow with a bigger increase than in June.

Fed can obviously sell treasuries, which apparently they did, but that should crash all equities along with metals.
