Loopring is unironically a really nice exchange and it feels like a lot of top influencers are pushing it and talking about it. ZK-rollup is apparently superior for just token transfer purposes. It's also a rollup and a true dex since it's non custodial.

The fees are about .25% per tx, so less than the uniswap LP fee... There is zero gas fee.

Because I've been in this space long enough to realize the impact of network effect. ADA has no chance. It doesn't even focus on being a multi blockchain solution, where it focuses on connecting to other chains.

DOT and Cosmos are probably the best two, since they focus on connecting blockchains. ADA doesn't offer anything that ETH doesn't other than "BIGGER FASTER". No network effect will occur. Just like many of the other chains like EOS, TRON and TEZOS.

Optimism is good for general purpose, but ZK rollups will be the way to go for transfers and trading. Loopring's ZK rollup exchange is already here and ready for swaps/trades. Works like a charm. Put your assets on it, and even if the team and the loopring network disappeared tomorrow you could still withdraw all your funds since it relies on ETH for security.

The scaling issue is already solved for Ethereum. It is MUCH easier to just use a zk rollup exchange now than it is to go to an entirely different insecure chain, and trade there.

So not only is it easier to use ETH layer 2, it's more secure.
