It's the hiding strategy. Chainlink is just another google. Just a order of magnitude more influential. Ten years from now Chainlink will be the biggest network in the world. In twenty years it will be impossible for people to imagine a world not powered by chainlink enabled smart contracts.

The paper promises paradigm will be replaced by the cryptographic guarantee paradigm. The money will have a fixed supply, financial agreements will be mathematically enforced in such a way that anything other than honest action is not game theoretically viable.
