This World War 1 poster translates to "For France, Pour Your Gold." Government propaganda telling French citizens to donate their gold Francs to the government for the war effort. The same french government that sent millions of french youth to get slaughtered and dehumanized in the most unimaginable and disturbingly barbaric manner that mankind had ever seen. And it was all for what? France turned into the cesspool of Europe filled with muslims and third world migrants with no skills. Also read Poilu if you haven't. Great book about the front lines of WW1. Storm of Steel (uncucked 1929 version) is another good read.
