I was saving up for a decade, did a 3 month practice trip, most fun in my life. Came home and decided once I hit 500k I would travel through my 30s. I got up to maybe 100k, with my new confidence I started dating. Accidently impregnated my gf, we had a baby, I watch our child full time now. Last year my portfolio passed $500k then topped at $1m shortly after. I'd be off in another country in a language school mingling with the natives and other travelers. Theres no financial goal for me now, just the daily grind. I think once my child goes off to college I'll travel in my late 50s.
