When you have your flower, what you can do with it so far is plant it in the game world. The tutorial koala mostly explains everything, but in short: plant your flower near some other (preferably rarer) flowers, to potentially breed with em. We're pretty early on in the alpha, so a lot of features are still in development -- like skill trees, crafting, harvesting, experience, building automation for your base, etc.
