I have 60k saved, a house and a land in Portugal in a small village and a piece of land with olive trees, planning to plant some grapses and shit , a 2020 volkswagen golf, an 135 m2 (1453 sqft) 3 bedroom 1 bathroom with a nice kitchen apartament in Romania. Does this makes me rich or something? I could setup that apartament as an Airbnb cuz there are a lot of tourists in that city, also in in a very good position.

>Engineers just have CS envy right now

i agree with this. I got bs in mechanical engineering and have MBA and my paychecks would be better off if just went comp sci. That being said my job is very very cozy once I got through the shitshow of entry level engineering, and this will probably continue for the rest of my career. Also the last couple years every midwit decided to chase swe because the money was so good. But it seems much easier to learn coding than getting hands on experience in a manufacturing plant or similar job. If I was in uni right now I would definitely study EE or chem E and learn coding on the side and try to get into semiconductors or Pharma. Both industries seem to have no signs of slowing down

You know when you find an old pokemon card from childhood and you look it up on ebay to see if it's worth anything, and you see it selling for $2000 and freak out. Then your mom called you stupid because that's just the listing price no one's actually buying them?

That's every Zestimate Stacy right now

>Chris lives debt free making $90 an hour and drives a jacked up pickup

Chris makes $25 an hour, leases a new dodge charger, has 2 energy drinks every morning at 5 am and his knees are blown out by age 34. Every person he meets he has to brag about how rich he's going to be in just 3 more years making $80 an hour to fix people's toilets. He tried to get his friends into herbal life

well what else would there be? why would we reward hard work, rather than efficiency? Imagine taking you car to the shop and the mechanic says he worked really hard and spent 10 hours changing your oil and asked for $400
