Posw will be swapped to xsn from 1st of march onwards. Normally news like that would increase the price. With posw it declined, and i think there are some good reasons for that.

*poswallet still has not changed for the better, no marketplace (promised xmas 2017), no new coins for staking, absurd membership policies (you have to have more than 100k so that they even begin to make sense);
*the swap will be hosted at livecoin (classic posw version of overpromising and underdelivering)
*the team tells people to buy posw at cryptopia, whilst knowing that they have enormous problems with withdrawals; the swap at livecoin makes that situation even stranger
*their discord is hard to bear; critical questions get deleted, people muted and i never encountered a more condenscending and arrogant way of community management than that
*they have shitloads of semi finished projects (simply everything on poswallet.com) and instead of finishing up, just get on to the next one
*poswweekly has been weekly for a month and than gone (no new articles since 30th dec 2017); it is lovely that they dont even care to change the name, but than again their blog had to go since it was not updated frequently enough, you know not like something weekly...
*there will be a xsn podcast now for probably 3-5 episodes, so they can move on to create a dev diary afterwards for a month
*no infos on where or even if xsn will be traded duringst the swap
*coin supply: it is still not public what it will be; people talk everywhere from the circulating supply at swap time to the max supply (which is not as stated on cmc 70mill, but roughly 241mill just look it up in your console)

on the plus side, i am positively surprised that there will be a swap in q1, the testnet was not bad, tpos worked. So hmmm. it is hard to get to a conclusion, if you manage to ignore everything but xsn coins tech it might be one of the most promising coins right now

PoSW

>masternodes currently cost $12k
>$40M marketcap
>rebranding to stakenet
>will allow for brainlets and normies to stake their coins while in cold storage, while also not having to set up any VPS or having their computers run 24/7 for rewards
>20% guaranteed staking rewards

Revolutionary idea. New team came into place in July 2017. This thing is the sleeper of the century.

If you ever wished you'd gotten a Dash masternode last year when it was only $10k, well now is your chance to get something similiar if not better

POSW.

Why am I holding this. Got 9k, should I sell up and put more into VEN/ICX/ZRX or buy some XLM instead? Sell me or FUD me /biz/

Please biz, tell me why i should be holding onto this. Not got enough for a masternode either and never will.

POSW (soon to be rebranded, apparently)

so we did ANS/NEO and Link, and we all made good money if we got in early.

well let's take those profits and start getting behind PoSW because if we all buy masternodes and this shit moons we can legitimately retire in less than 6 months.

the roadmap for this coin is insane coming up, it includes a rebrand to stakenet, new logo, releasing of masternodes, implemention of trustless proof of stake

what is trustless proof of stake? it's where normies and non-tech savvy people can stake their cryptocurrencies via the proof-of-stake wallet, without running their own wallet. they can use COLD STORAGE wallets and still get paid staking rewards

as we all now masternodes/staking will be the future of blockchain technologies, and this is the only tech on the market getting ahead of the game.

who else thinks this should be our next big shill coin? /early retirement/ is here boys

since shillers reappeared here some normal infos on posw and poswallet

poswallet is an online staking wallet for one coin - posw. the site was hacked in august, the team handeld it well, no customer lost funds. there were talks on adding coins since july with no results. there was a marketplace projected for xmas, no result. the former big point eth integration has not been mentioned for a while. it seems everything concerning poswallet is either cancelled or delivered like poswallet2.0 - nothing like it was said to be and about 3 months late.

poswallet has had the same team since the beginning and new coin devs were added in august 2017

the coin is being developed and there is a testnet, in which tpos, mn, zero fee txs, ... work. and that is the most important part. unlike some shiller mentioned in another thread everyone is able to join the testnet, not only whales, so just go to their discord and ask if you may join the testnet.

marketingwise posw was a nightmare in the past, it is a little bit better now - check the articles on medium, but far from any real marketing. the community seems to be mainly new people every two/three months - which is about the patience people have with the posw-team, which projects every development being finished within the next quarter, always. if you are asking questions on discord ignore everyone but the devs, since nobody has any good info, and there are some people who just take every question as an attack on their cryptocoingirlfriend...

the site is something to forget about in its state right now, there are (were and presumably will be)many delays on both sides (site and coin) of the development.
coin devs were promising big news for mid november, did not happen, were saying that the swap will be done in 2017 but now it shall be in q1 2018...

but despite all the bad things about posw - the coin is worth being looked into – give their testnet a try

Ok, so you think that posw is going to be a big player, because there is development and a new technology. Fair enough.
Now lets look at one of their former "great" projects. the revamp of poswallet.com, which was on schedule until the server breach in august. it was so much on schedule that it was released in november without new features, other stakeable coins, or the holy eth-integration. and they have stated that the exchange will not come back. so i fail to see how the page got better compared to the many coins/faucets and exchange poswallet.com before.

and now there is another "great" project, which has been on schedule always and even tweeted that the testnet would be ready and that invitations were coming soon on october 8th. ok there was no server breach, but it was said that it was not possible to market within the btc-fork-environment, so everything was on schedule, and after the fork woohooo. then the fork got cancelled and nothing happened. ok some articles, there were some of those about poswallet2.0 as well, didn't speed it up, didn't make it better.

so my question is why do you believe that the coin devs are working/developing for real and not just pulling another poswallet2.0?
