What's so bad about putting $5000 into a bunch of the top cryptos and basically sell the peaks and buy the dips instead of dumping it all into the current hypetrain?

I just made a nice return on XMR but I had to basically put all my cash in there and had to hold it for months. If I had split my risk among other cryptos, I think I would have seen more gains.

After the DAO scandal, I pulled out of ETH.

ETH may have a future, but right now, confidence in the platform is sinking. Once this shit gets resolved, then we may see it rise again.
