Having them stand in breadlines, where the biggest spender is gov't just buying trash from agribusiness and feeding them with surplus porkchops and the loaves of white bread that were thrown out by quality control isn't really an inflationary force.

If congress doesn't allocate spending, the fed can't fund the spending, the money supply doesn't increase as dramatically and the velocity of money continues to flatline.
