Kek. He got a partial set of forks and spoons from the 1750s which may well have been from a vast royal table setting and thus impressively valuable, but not quite unique. An actual imperial tea set may well be in Frogbro's future though.

Darn, I guess it depends on when they closed but if not tossed in the dump earlier I know that lots of old dies/molds were collected and melted in the WW2 scrap drives. I have a few antique c.1890-1910 bottle molds that survived somehow including this sweet set, not really worth what token/coin dies would be but still pretty cool. Anyway please post a pic of the other side of your Sammon token if it's convenient, not all corrosion is created equal and sometimes there's nothing that can be done to improve a piece. If it's the same as the front side then it'll clean up.
