Bonds are typically issued by the State and returns are therefore guaranteed. BTC is not a bond backed by the State and returns are never guaranteed, virtually all its value these days is derived from the speculative mania being driven by fraudulent trading.

Holding BTC is therefore a gamble that speculative mania can be sustained indefinitely, which has never happened before in recorded human history.
