Because people love to get left behind and buy at high prices so that they can then sell at low prices and whine about how WE fucked them up and mislead them...

They won't buy at 3.8$, but they sure as hell will buy at 20$+ when the whole board is already on board and has their trigger fingers ready on the sell button.

Read through the POCO series

https://medium.com/iex-ec/about-trust-and-agents-incentives-4651c138974c

It's a high level overview of the POCO consensus algorithm they use, which is the core to iexec. Just read the full series, it'll help you understand it in more non-technical terms

I get similar vibes when looking at RLC vs LINK all the time. Nobody seems to understand that it is much bigger than "decentralized cloud computing". It is actually a missing step for to widespread enterprise smart contract adoption. Most enterprises will want more complex stuff to happen on the blockchain with data they don't want exposed. The data also will not be efficient to calculate on the blockchain due to high cost. Therefore, they will do off chain computing on RLC.

Yes, iExec Academy and the 2nd part of the V5 update (fog/edge computing, super important shit), after that we get a new roadmap or some time before the V5 update (can't wait for this). And we're probably getting (I'm guessing this, not really a 100% on this) a partnership announcement or 2 in until the end of the year
