do bear understand how stocks work? do you get that its earnings and how much people are willing to pay for them? companies are still going to make money next year, maybe it wont the 245 earnings that were projected for 2023 but it's not going to be 0. we've contracted multiples a ton already. what you are describing is a 1929 event. even after 2008/09(which was a global catastrophe) it didnt take 40 years to make a new ATH, it took about 5 years and thats if you bought the ultimate 2007 top and never averaged down. not every recession or downturn in 2008 or 1929
