>Has it actually even been tried?

Yes. And if you are actually 28, you should know better. I'm 27 and I would never, ever do such a thing.

1. It is fucking expensive. You are probably highly underestimating the costs involved here. It wouldn't shock me if you end up losing ~$1000 a fucking WEEK on this. This stuff is NOT cheap.

2. Talking about how you want her to be some live-in arrangement tells me (and more importantly, HER) that you are desperate for some female company. She WILL use that to her advantage. She WILL press and twist and do all of that shit to extract MORE.

And the second you cannot provide MORE, she will leave. Now, you say, women already do that. To some extent, true. But with this, this is the express, written foundation of the relationship. There is literally nothing else.

If money is genuinely no issue, then take time off, join a gym, get a prepared meal plan, travel, go out more and get a wider social circle.

That shit does two things, it will get you a hot gf CHEAPER than what you would be paying for this, and you will enjoy your fucking life more.

In /biz/ terms, you are seriously buying an underperforming asset, at best (you could use that money in a much wiser and more profitable fashion), and setting yourself up for financial disaster at worst.

Wisen the fuck up and don't fucking do it. Buy a hooker for a fraction of the cost, she'll fuck better, and after the sex you will feel like an idiot for even considering this.

>experience in ripple

This is just yet more of this bullshit jobs posting scam companies do.

What the fuck does "experience" in ripple mean?

I know what it is and how it works, does that count?

Or are you REALLY saying you want someone from the fucking dev team of ripple to come work for you? If that is the case, why are you putting an ad posting out instead of headhunting them directly?

Fuck I hate tech hiring.

A lot of old timers have been trough a lot with BTC, and that has built up a kind of close-mindedness with them. They remember the first altcoin boom back in 2012-2013 and how almost all of them were complete shit and not worth it. That boom was a lot like the ICO boom this year, with the vast majority of coins/tokens being scams or shit. So they feel justified holding onto Bitcoin and slamming literally everything else because 98% of the crypto space is horseshit.

It is ultimately a dumbass stance to have and will be their downfall, "Digital Gold" is the most recent excuse as to why Bitcoin won't die. But take a look from outside the space and you can very see it happening, faster than most people expect, really.

BTC is a classic example of first-mover advantage and speculation. It's fundamentals are horseshit and are already destroyed by the likes of Ethereum. I could very well see the flippening happening in 2018. It already almost happened already. The last few months have not been good for Bitcoin. It's price, yes, but anything propping up that price, especially in comparison to other legit cryptos (ETH, BCH, XMR, etc) has been washed away. Even devs are leaving for ETH right now.

Only thing left is time. As thats the only thing resting on your first-mover advantage will get you.

Yes, I'm betting this upcoming shitstorm will see another sizable BTC dominance drop, especially if it is ugly and the 1MB side "wins".

You can already buy ETH and LTC on Coinbase, the largest exchange. The barriers of entry for people to actually start using ETH and LTC in a major way are tiny compared to the barriers BTC first faced.

Monero is primed to take over the darknet, which gave BTC its first real kickstart.

Bitcoin Cash can be trivially implemented if shit goes tits up with 2X. If BTC stays at 1MB companies like Rootstock and Counterparty with their sidechain developments will likely move to ETH or BCH (they've already stated long ago the blocks are far too full for their shit to work).

I think Bitcoin will eventually fall. All of its competitors do it's individual use-cases far better than it does. It will likely be a combination of slow but steady decline combined with crisis points like the upcoming fork drama.

I absolutely agree with the first mover advantage point, the only thing Bitcoin and it's spinoffs have for them right now are their network effect and first mover advantage. In fact I divested most of my BTC for Monero earlier this year.

But it seems the prices of alts go down when these forks happens, due to people wanting to get a split share. I just want to know what people think the most likely outcome here is, since I don't see Bitcoin disappearing overnight, or even over a couple of months.

Anyway Charlie, I'll give that you have some balls, first literally making an ICO, then coming around here to shill it. Most people in your position would never leave their bubble.

Feel free to hang around, just learn to have thick skin. It would be cool to have /biz/'s own Scooby.

What is Coinbase?

https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/1662379-how-is-coinbase-insured-

>All digital currency that Coinbase holds online is fully insured. This means that if Coinbase were to suffer a breach of its online storage, the insurance policy would pay out to cover any customer funds lost as a result.

The insurance policy covers any losses resulting from a breach of Coinbase’s physical security, cyber security, or by employee theft. The policy is provided by a syndicate of insurers through Lloyd’s of London.

Coinbase holds less than 2% of customer funds online. The rest is held in offline storage.

Get rekt, faggot.
