Protocol Core Elements
Daiquilibrium, paired with DAI, implements a triad of central design elements.

Dynamic
With the aim of promoting stability, DAIQ introduces the idea of dynamic epochs—which change duration based on token price. The further from peg, the shorter the epoch (and vice versa). Furthermore, our governance platform supports modification on a variety of relevant parameters like minimum epoch duration, coupon expiration time, expansion price, and many more for maximum flexibility.

Algorithmic
Original, streamlined code builds supply and pricing formulas into our smart contracts, ensuring every mechanic—from epochal advance to decentralized governance—is fully automated and mathematically secured.

Impartial
Fairly launching DAIQ with no team or marketing tokens guarantees equality of opportunity from the very beginning. And since anyone can mint DAIQ throughout the token generation event (TGE), advance botters are also prevented from capturing a large and growing percentage of total supply. Advancing is instead incentivized through a biphasic model: while bootstrapping, as a fixed 150 DAI (cut from TGE raise); and thereafter, as a standard remittance of 100 DAIQ tokens.

Since DAIQ looks like shit I assume you won't even bother looking at it? Shame. Look at the token itself at the very least, could be a bet with a decent payoff if things go well.

Maybe the real peg were the friends we made along the way.

DAIQ is an algo elastic supply "stablecoin", working in a similar way to what AMPL, ESD/DSD, ZAI have been trying in the past with a new coupon system and a way for holders/gamblers to actively participate in making the price go back up to its supposed peg of $1. Check this video to see how the whole concept works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ww5zvvphX0

TL;DW
>if DAIQ > $1 = supply increases and goes to holders wallets
>if DAIQ < $1 = no rewards anymore, but holders can choose to buy coupons by burning their tokens, reducing the supply and betting on DAIQ going back up to $1

You can then redeem said coupons to get your tokens back with a bonus once DAIQ is back up to $1 or even higher, depending on the risk you took by creating the coupon.
DAIQ has been crabbing near 15 cents in the past three days, so you can understand that you have more or less a x7 until it reaches $1.

BUT. This is not without risks, including the following but not only:
>anonymous team
>no real value beyond muh rewards when DAIQ > $1
>the concept only works when there's enough volume to keep the cycle going
>if buy pressure and volume die = DEATH
>DAO/governance/community-driven buzzwords
>only incentive to buy below the peg is thinking that others will also see the value in doing so, WHEN IT'S NOT GUARANTEED TO GO BACK UP
>burning your tokens for a coupon is basically betting on the price going back up to $1 with your stack as collateral
>risk that can be deemed unnecessary for vanilla holders who can just wait for their bags to appreciate in value
>sell pressure can be massive on the way up due to burned buyers above $1 waiting to cut their losses and excess DAIQ waiting to be dumped
>ANONYMOUS TEAM

Copium coming up in next post.

I'll just leave this here, do what you will. One look at the chart, the website and the medium articles should tell you that anything under $1 is an unironic steal. DYOR,

I'll give this one week before people see this thread on warosu, confirming that I was right.

I'm tempted to buy this just because it's down x50 from its ATH. I don't understand one thing about this token so perhaps I could hear what /biz/ thinks about it.
