Wow I relate a lot to this. I'm cutting off porn too. This infographic (and what I've read elsewhere) basically shows how you get the same hit of dopamine from porn vs sex. So of course it's way easier to just fap at home to porn rather than actually exert effort to meet a girl.

But similar thing to me. I lost my virginity at 23 to a girl who became my GF. I tried to have sex sooner when I was 19-20 and couldn't get it up. Later on, after reading about it online, it was PIED from too much porn.

My GF I lost my virginity too was my perfect girl. I had been gyming it and got very lean. She had that perfect white lean body, nice ass, sick stomach with the belly piercing (love those), everything. We were together for several years but I still watched porn and had trouble performing a lot of the time. We broke up, and throughout the years I had sex with various girls and of course had trouble getting it up or prematurely ejaculating.

Now I'm almost 30 and pretty much stopped trying to care or dating. Years and years of shitty negative reinforcement through my failures with women has killed my drive to move forward with it. But I agree, before when I was a virgin, I was gymming it all the time and reading and motivated to become something. After I had sex, it was like meh.

But I think it's just years (probably 15 years now?) of porn that has completely fucking fried my brain and made it extremely difficult to quit.

Also all the other girls I dated after never compared to my first GF in terms of body wise, and connection wise. So it's been like meh, why invest emotionally if it won't be as comparable or better than before?
