Escaping the consumer hell is the only option left isn't it /biz/? Is trans(or de)cending into minimalism the last hope for us to escape the ratrace?

Why are there so many stages to a job interview in the current year? How did it get this way?

People know working is bullshit. That there's plenty of people being given enough money for a living for no reason at all while they're busting their asses working. And on top of that the money they're earning through their work is shit. It doesn't afford them anything and if you're going to live paycheck to paycheck you may as well have some free time.

Even people in higher paying positions are becoming aware that their purchasing power is falling faster than they can get raises and are getting demoralized. Both the blue collar technician whose wages have been becoming increasingly stagnant and even receding or the white collar workers know that the middle class lifestyle is becoming harder and harder to attain.

Work is nowadays less of a moral obligation and more of a means to an end. And the end isn't being fulfilled that much, so anyone who thinks he has a chance to get on the dole does so. The idea of having to work to "contribute to society" is a dead meme. If you can escape work and get away with reasonable living standards, you do.

Sick and tired of businesses obsessed with maximizing profits. I want food and shelter. I couldn't give 2 shits about "careers" (i.e. have a job define who I am) and making some business owner rich off of my labor. As long as there's a net gain, shut the fuck up.

The BULLSHIT we have to go through just for food and shelter. Wtf man. Only a conformist bootlicker bitch that loves sucking employer cum could think this system is healthy.

Not everyone likes the taste of cum, faggots.
