Let me explain something to you fucking retards. Yes, the team hasn't communicated well. Yes, the mozzarella thing was a bit strange. Yes, the price of the token dropped a lot. And yes, development seemingly stalled for a while there. But you need to actually READ AND UNDERSTAND what is happening in order to understand why this is your best shot to make it in the next couple years.

The V2 protocol is going to totally replace the old model. How does V2 work? Well, for starters, it is focused on user friendliness and ease of use over bullshit like "decentralization". Here's the gist of it: The Request Network is an invoicing and transaction database. In V1 of the Request Network, I would perform a transaction and would have to pay both an Ethereum gas fee and a Request Network fee. Okay, sounds fine, but this made things tricky because this meant that if I wanted to send someone fiat or BTC or any non Ethereum based token, I'd need Ether on hand to pay the gas fee. Moreover, I'd be sending BTC to an Ether address which made things VERY confusing and VERY non user friendly.
