most vivid was as a teenager
i was drowned in a pool, i think to be shown god by a friend. His family was as christian as the bible itself, and feared for my afterlife. They knew i could not swim, but encouraged me to swim across the pool anyways. I tried, and sank in the deep end immediately. After the immediate stress, i felt an overwhelming good. a bright light, disembodied voices. i never felt anything as beautiful as that in my entire existence. I could see my body from above, and when I was done fighting with the voices, i was sent back to my body. The paramedics never took me to the hospital. I believe this was due to my friend's father being fire chief, they hid it from my family. I also did not think of this for a long time, and only told my family after it had been years past. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as NDE's, but an important experience for me nonetheless.

I was born with a knot in my umbilical
i was smothered with a pillow by a babysitter
i drowned
i was nearly in a plane crash
my rag joint came apart on my steering column at a stop light, after i had just been going 120mph on the freeway moments before.

i leave it to fate
