Im a 20 year old "neet." I have absolutely no friends, haven't for almost a decade, dropped out of college multiple times (currently in community college.) The only sort of social interaction i get is from family and work. A year ago, after I had just dropped out of college, shortly after the march crash, I threw my life savings (5 years of working) into crypto. Told myself that If I ended up losing it all, I'd just take my life. I figured I had failed at everything in life so far, why not take the chance. At that point, my life had no meaning. Fast forward 9 months later, My net worth is almost 100k. Im pretty sure I'll reach that milestone by this summer. Around September/october I had gone down the chainlink rabbit hole, bought a ton at sub $10. Have a very comfy stack of link i dont plan on selling anytime soon. Never in my life have I felt more optimistic about the future. While I still have zero social life, I at least have meaning in my life. I truly believe that sometimes, even when in the depths of despair, things just happen for a reason. If you're going through that now, know it doesn't last forever.
