Help. I have a lunch interview tomorrow and I need to know what's the right way use a knife and fork. I always switch hands between cutting and eating but it sometimes feels clumsy. Which is why i usually eat spoon only foods or hand foods like cereal or chicken fingers. I also know i will be really nervous during the interview and i don't want to drop a knife on my plate. I tried practicing and looking up the proper way and some people say you place the knife down on the plate between cutting (see pic related) but that seems odd to me i feel like food will get on the knife handle. Is this really what you are supposed to do or is it okay to just switch hands?

What does /biz/ do? Switch hands or set the knife down?
