how do you cope with having poor parents? they condemned me to a life of suffering and misery.

i talk to other people and it’s so insane. one dude works from home while living in his parents vacation home for FREE making my life savings every month. i talked to people who’s family leaves them a house and they can just move and do the bare minimum to survive and pay taxes no problem. people who’s parents put them on the right track and they have a nice degree and job buying their own house.

i never had a first car, no role models, everyone i know is addicted to drugs with alcoholic parents barely holding on and i thought that was normal my entire life. my parents live like hell in a broken down ancient house they never renovated that just has health hazards and broken shit. its starting to look like an abonded crack house with boarded up windows.

my parents told me they got the shit house for 25k 20 years ago and still haven’t paid off the mortgage, let it go to shit, never renovated it, etc. i lost all respect for them after that and it made me start to hate them. they are drowning in debt but still have nothing to show for it.

i have already accepted suicide and that i will never have a house, happiness, gf, or anything. i’m just praying i get disabilitybux and the government at least gives me a tiny apartment. i’m just so miserable. this is worse than having a single parent in a trailer.

i wish i had a wfh friend to move to thailand with. every time i see that $250 rent i go nuts.
