No, it does work. I always thought it was as useful as tea leaves but now I use it in conjunction with machine learning for timing and confirmation.

Picrel, showing what happens when you scale BTC to the cube root, here's the max and mins out to 2030 with a few halvings drawn in. Mind you, things like this kind of scaling can only be done if you combine TA with coding.

This one is not the log graph. It is what happens when you take the cube root instead of the log - BTC growth is linear. Here's the min and max levels out to 2030 with some halvenings drawn in .

(as an aside, this also shows why you should learn to code - stuff like this is a piece of cake to make and your choices with all the normal tools are normal or log)

Pro tip mofos, learn2code and set the Y axis scale to the cube root instead of the log. It becomes linear then. Everyone is using the log because it is in standard charts but it's not quite right and you get that curve.
