As a little addendum, I've never gotten locked out of day trades, but I would highly recommend thinking forward on your trades so you never find yourself using your last one. I've been in the position where I've used my first two five-trading-day-period day trades and been at a big loss (around 8% of total portfolio) and used the last one in a panic to secure a meager ~1% gain... I waited a whole week just to get that shit back so I wouldn't get cucked by bullshit. Never back yourself into a corner trying to blindly chase potential gains or make up for losses.
