You can explain to them endlessly:

All of it goes in one ear, out the other.
They just yell "FUD" over and over, as though that's an argument.
Nevermind that they SHOULD be feeling A LOT of fear, uncertainty and doubt.
Because everything points to the fact that their tulip mania is reaching its ultimate conclusion.
But no, they will just keep tell you, "it's the future".
