My folks, the ones that haven't talked to me in eight years after i decided to drop out of engineering and decided to daytrade for a living, the ones that told me "you're not smart enough to do that, don't come crying to us if you waste your youth like that", just called me yesterday to ask me for 25k to pay medical bills. Now usually i would just tell them to fuck off but i feel specially betrayed because the only one from my family i kept in touch with was my sister who i thought was different, and i told her a couple of days ago that i had finally made it above 6 figures after two of my top coins (AGRS and RLC) pumped. We usually chat and some months ago i started giving her coaching and introducing her to investing, and she KNOWS i hate people who just want to use me, now im questioning wether or not she kept in touch with me just to use me and be a "spy" for my parents.

Im pretty sure the camera recording was specifically for this moment, its far too convenient otherwise. I love my mom and i really want to support her in getting better but it's come to a point where she needs to grow up and start being a real adult. I do everything, i get the money, i get the groceries, i solve problems with my brothers and sisters, im the second youngest and yet i do all this and more. Im planning on moving out next year, to another city, after she recovers her movility (she just had a foot surgery) and can work again. After that i will still support her in getting mental health (she needs real adult friends) and finding a better job. She's smart so she can actually manage her money without fucking up, the one who actually was bad with money was my dad (they divorced 3 years ago, she's still recovering from the multi-decade scars a shitty marriage leaves).
Meanwhile im stuck in my job because it's got a decent pay and leaves me enough money to gamble on shitcoins. Today for example im spending the monthly 300 i allow myself to spend on the 7/11 launch (i do have a problem with gambling).
Anyway, i hope this gets better for both of us because it's seriously stopping me from progressing in life
