Youre investing hoping for the value to grow, not because of the dividend. How hard is that to understand?

If I say my portfolio is 50% MSFT and 50% AMZN to profit from defense spending that doesnt mean its bad portfolio. Its just....
Whatever youre happy with what youre doing and if you just hold youre not doing anything wrong, go ahead.

Sorry, its really not.
Its a growth stock. Youre hoping for the value to increase, not the irrelevant dividend. The dividend will grow as a side effect of the value of the stock increasing.
But again, i dont care.

Then you would be better off finding high IV stable stocks to sell covered calls on. Not dividends. A single OTM weekly covered call on MSFT is worth more than a whole year of MSFT dividends. And MSFT has a higher "dividend" than AAPL (.05% or whatever)
