on here I have a different persona
in society I function through business in my consultancy
it's a good way to focus and direct my energies when I'm not contemplating other topics

none of my beliefs are limiting happiness, connection or wealth
in fact, not many people care if you're "nice" as an adult
they care about how useful and how open you are to honest ethical collaboration, particularly when there is a mutual financial benefit
my personal beliefs don't extend onto others
I don't think that people are less because they don't agree with my opinion and just like Trump says "I work with everybody"
As I said somewhere earlier in the thread, we all swim in the same waters; on /biz/ I enjoy the "42" mantle as a way of focusing my writing and thinking in a group forum setting.

Ironically enough I have a lot of high performance professionals (doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc.) that I associated with and know via family, friends, and business connections. We have formed close bonds over the years and some of them have been excellent mentors to me. My life is filled with people that watch out for me and help me along, and I strive to do the same. People call it "old school".
