As for your money situation, I'm going to give you a life secret. It's like real life alchemy. Okay, anon?

Here's what you need to do:
>get another job
>live with parents or room mate
>sell whatever you can to make more money, ma's lawn mower she hasn't used in 8 years, an old power tool that your dad doesn't want anymore, whatever.
>save as much money as possible and as fast as possible

You need to save up 20,000 to 30,000 (30k is ideal). So work at a minimum wage job for about a year and also sell your own stuff on the side to get to this goal faster. Once you have this amount saved up put that money in to a brokerage (I use pleb Robinhood because I didn't want to drive all the way to my TD Ameritrade office which was a forty minute drive).

Now you're probably laughing and saying to yourself "ooo typical biz advice." Here's where things get different. Have the goal of making the absolute safest investments you possibly can. Use the futures market everyday to get an idea of how tomorrows stock market might open. And have a weekly goal of gaining 1% a week off the money you saved up.

Continue to put money into your trading account, more importantly continue to invest safely (looking at the 52 week average, going in and out of a stock once you hit your goal, knowing when to stay out of the market for a little while, etc).

Don't be greedy, once you make 1% return after trading one stock, or maybe a few, sell. Because once you feel greed then odds are that stock is going to start dipping.

Once you get your own life in line, then everything else will be fixed. Hope this helps someone.
