Min 2 grand on blue chips or its not worth it. Its my rule pretty much every other trade I do is 4k or over now.

As I've said before trading is like gambling. I'd get a decent safety net together first before considering jumping into this. I saved up 70k and decided to throw 20k into trading 12 months ago. I'm overall 8% down on my portfolio but its been an amazing learning experience.

Set yourself a goal at 10k or something and then save another 2k to throw at a stock if you can justify the possible lose. Only bet what you are possibly prepared to lose.
