The worst part is the high-speed rail would simply follow alongside the existing freeways. However, every time the idea gains traction a new excuse materializes. It's almost as if they don't want us commuting from lower cost areas...

Anyways for the past 1.5 years I've been living in pic related during my work week. Many of my coworkers (at least 30) have gone this route as well except most have truck bed campers.
